The revised VVG came into force on 01 January 2022. The scope of your insurance coverage remains unchanged.
The revised Insurance Contract Act (VVG) makes things easier for you without fundamentally changing anything about your insurance coverage. For example, a right of revocation of 14 days is now introduced for insurance contracts, and even contracts with a long term can be terminated after three years. The limitation period for claims arising from insurance contracts will also be increased from two to five years. In addition, the law will be adapted to the current requirements of electronic commerce.
